I like the services. I like the way the sermons are presented. I like the content of the sermons There appears to be much "musical" talent. But there is NO INDICATION, OF WHAT "DENOMINATION" THIS CHURCH IS ,---NOR THE SLIGHTEST INDICATION OF WHAT DENOMINATION, IT IS EVEN "ASSOCIATED" WITH. RATHER UNUSAL,---I BELIEVE.... However, this is why I can not give them a 5 Star Rating. *** "FELLOWSHIP" *** I do believe there can be some improvement in this area. At the conclusion of the service, a LEAD PASTOR, needs to be there to shake "EVERY" HAND, & greet those w/a SMILE..... This gives a feeling of appreciation that you have come to worship here. Not just appreciating the frequent attenders, but the NEWCOMER'S, as well. It is a courtesy to be sure to THANK THE NEWCOMERS, & VISTORS FOR ATTENDING. The vistor should not be the one to go out of there way, to "find" the Pastor. The Pastor needs to position himself so no one leaves w/out going past him, (perhaps close off 1 exit door/ leaving the other door open to leave the sanctuary. First time vistors, could receive a nice welcoming gift" & thank you for attending..... There could possibly be someone assigned to this specifically. A guest need never feel they are the one "seeking out" that gift..Someone in the Fellowship Commitee has the responsibilty to "SEEK OUT"/ NOT MISS,--- THAT 1ST TIME ATTENDER. Those who walk in the Church could be greeted as well, w/HANDSHAKE & SMILE & the GREETER could INTRODUCE THEMSELVE BY 1ST NAME & WELCOME those, while handing them a bulletin....Do you do this in this Church? IF SO,--- I DON'T REMEMBER, & IF "IMPRESSED", I WOULD HAVE. After the service, I have left my seat, gone to my vehicle, & felt no one seems to appear,--- to care,--- that I have attended their Church Service, or not. That's just not right. That should NEVER happen in ANY Church, EVER.... So please, please take this to "HEART"; & MAKE SOME "PRAYERFUL" CHANGES. "THANK YOU" in advance,--when you do......

I can't comment on Linda's experience but will say as an Elder her comments about feeling welcome from the church is what we strive to do. We try to address these issues each Sunday in this manner. Greeters locate prior to service at the main door just to greet each person until service starts. Ushers are at sanctuary door to hand out bulletins.
We have a time in middle of normal services where people are invited to greet those around them. Our senior pastor normally moves to the exit during the final prayer.
If visitors fill out information card and take to kiosk they receive a gift.
These are the specific ways we have in place to address these issues. Special events and holidays will often change this format some.
The church is associated with the Christian and Missionary Alliance church. God bless! We appreciate and welcome the feedback.Added August 16, 2016 by Jonathan Showalter
